Traces d'usure sur la pochette du coffret.
This numismatic set presents a complete series of Euro coins from the Netherlands, minted in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality for the year 2004. It includes the eight current denominations, ranging from 1 cent to 2 euros.
Each coin is made from the standard metals defined by the Eurozone. The 1, 2, and 5 cent coins are made of copper-plated steel. The 10, 20, and 50 cent coins are made of Nordic gold alloy. The 1 and 2 euro coins are bimetallic. The 1 euro coin is composed of a cupronickel center and a nickel-brass ring. The 2 euro coin is composed of a nickel-brass center and a cupronickel ring.
The coins feature a common design to all Eurozone countries on one side, representing the face value and European symbols. The other side is specific to the Netherlands and features the effigy of Queen Beatrix, Head of State at the time of issue. The portrait of Queen Beatrix is surrounded by the inscription "Beatrix Koningin der Nederlanden", meaning "Beatrix Queen of the Netherlands". The year of issue, 2004, is also present on this national side.
The set is specially designed to protect and showcase the coins. It offers a neat presentation and allows the coins to be preserved in their original condition, protected from handling and environmental agents that could alter them. The set is intended for collectors and numismatics enthusiasts, offering an overview of the Dutch minting of Euro coins in 2004.
