Coin Belgium UNC Set 1999 - 2000 - 2001 - first euros coins

This numismatic set includes the Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) strikes of Belgium for the years 1999, 2000, and 2001, marking the transition period to the euro. It contains the complete series of Belgian franc coins for the years 1999 and 2000, as well as the first series of euro coins minted by Belgium in 2001.

The Belgian franc coins included in the set feature the following denominations: 50 centimes, 1 franc, 5 francs, 20 francs, and 50 francs. These coins bear the portrait of King Albert II on the obverse, while the reverse features various symbolic representations of Belgium, accompanied by the face value.

The 2001 euro coin series includes the eight denominations: 1 cent, 2 cents, 5 cents, 10 cents, 20 cents, 50 cents, 1 euro, and 2 euros. The obverse of these coins bears the stylized portrait of King Albert II, surrounded by the twelve European stars. The reverse is common to all countries of the Eurozone for the coins from 1 cent to 50 cents, while the 1 euro and 2 euro coins feature a map of Europe.
