Traces d'usure sur la pochette du coffret.
This numismatic set, issued by the Netherlands in 2005, includes all eight current coin denominations, ranging from 1 cent to 2 euros, minted in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality. It also includes a commemorative medal specific to that year.
The 1, 2, and 5 cent coins are generally made of copper-plated steel, displaying a characteristic reddish color. They feature a common design depicting the portrait of Queen Beatrix, as well as the face value and year. The reverse is common to all euro coins of this value, illustrating a map of Europe.
The 10, 20, and 50 cent coins are made of nickel silver, an alloy of copper, nickel, and zinc, giving them a yellow color. They also feature the portrait of Queen Beatrix on their national side, along with the face value and year of issue. The reverse features the standard design of euro coins of these values.
The 1 and 2 euro coins are bimetallic. The 1 euro coin consists of a cupronickel center surrounded by a nickel-brass ring. The 2 euro coin consists of a nickel-brass center surrounded by a cupronickel ring. The national side of these coins also depicts Queen Beatrix, with the face value and year. The reverse is common to all euro coins of these values.
The commemorative medal included in the set is specific to the year 2005; its theme and iconography are not specified.
All the coins and the medal are presented in a case specially designed for the conservation and presentation of this numismatic series. The Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition guarantees the absence of defects and optimal brilliance of the coins.
