This Venezuelan banknote was issued in 1995. It has a face value of 50 bolivares and belongs to the S series.
On the front of the banknote, the design is dominated by purple, orange, and black colors. The Palacio de las Academias is depicted in the center. A portrait of Andrés Bello appears on the right, while the watermark area is on the left. The name of the issuer, "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA", is printed at the top, along with the denomination in words, "CINCUENTA BOLÍVARES", and the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO". The value of the denomination, "50", is indicated in the upper and lower left corners. At the bottom, on a black security background, the value "50" is repeated twice.
The back of the banknote features an orange motif. In the center, we find the mention "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA". The coat of arms is positioned on the left, and the watermark area on the right. The name of the issuer, "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA", is printed at the top, while the denomination in words, "CINCUENTA BOLÍVARES", appears at the bottom. The value of the denomination, "50", is present in each corner.
The watermark represents Andrés Bello. The dimensions of the banknote are 156 × 69 mm.
