This coin is struck in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality and is presented in an official blister pack. It is composed of two metals: the center is made of nickel brass, while the outer ring is made of cupronickel. It weighs 8.5 grams and measures 25.75 millimeters in diameter, with a thickness of 2.20 millimeters.
The coin's edge is reeded and bears the inscription of the number "2" followed by two stars, all repeated six times alternately, with an orientation sometimes upright, sometimes upside down. The mintage of this commemorative coin is limited to 80,000 copies.
