Banknote Suriname 5 Gulden - Soldiers and woman - Presidential Palace - 1982 - Series 003

This banknote is issued by the Central Bank of Suriname and has a face value of five gulden. It is dated April 1, 1982.

The front of the banknote is predominantly blue on a multicolored background. On the right, it features a representation of soldiers and a woman, as well as a monument commemorating the communist revolution of February 24, 1980. The inscriptions on this side are in Latin and indicate the name of the issuing bank, the face value in numbers and letters ("VIJF GULDEN"), as well as the date of issue and the name of the printer: "JOH. ENSCHEDE EN ZONEN IMP."

The back of the banknote depicts the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Suriname. The serial number of the banknote is printed in black on this side. The watermark visible by transparency depicts a parrot's head.

The dimensions of this banknote are 151 millimeters in length and 66 millimeters in width. It belongs to the 003 series.
