Banknote Suriname 100 Gulden - Anton De kom - Toucan - 1988 - AD Series

This banknote, with a face value of 100 gulden, was issued in 1988 by Suriname. It belongs to the AD series and is designated as "Anton De kom - Toucan".

On the front, the banknote features a dominant purple color printed on a multicolored background. A portrait of Anton De Kom (Cornelis Gerhard Anton de Kom, 1888-1945) is visible on the left. On the right, there is a depiction of the militia, and a row of buildings is illustrated at the bottom of the banknote. The inscriptions "CENTRALE BANK VAN SURINAME" and "HONDERD GULDEN" are also present, as well as the date "1 JULI 1986" and the name of the printer "THOMAS DE LA RUE AND COMPANY LIMITED". The script used is Latin.

The back of the banknote features a toucan on the left, while a loudspeaker surrounded by people is depicted on the right. The watermark of the banknote reproduces the image of a toucan.
