The first 2 euro commemorative coin of Spain 2025 is dedicated to the old city of Salamanca as part of the collection devoted to Spanish sites listed by UNESCO. It shows the church and convent of San Esteban of the Dominican order, in the historic centre of Salamanca.  

Edge: striated and inscribed with a 2 followed by two stars, repeated six times, alternating right side up and upside down.
