The reverse of the 5 euro silver coin depicts a female footballer in the instant immediately following the shot, during which she and the ball she has just struck are still suspended in the air. The rotation of her torso and arms contrasts with that of her face and right leg, which instead follow the direction of the shot: this contrast gives momentum and movement to the entire composition.
