In 2017 San Marino changed all its national visuals on the euro coins it issues.  The 2-euro depicts a detail from Urbinelli's painting of San Marino bearing the three Towers" of the small republic. The 1 euro is illustrated by the castle of Cesta, often called the Second Tower. The 50 euro coin features a portrait of San Marino by Restrosi. The 20 cent coin features the three Towers of Mount Titano, the symbol of San Marino. The facade of San Francisco Church is depicted on the 10-cent coin and that of San Quirino on the 5-cent coin. The 2-cent coin features the city gate, while the 1-cent coin has the San Marino coat of arms as its illustration.
