The Associazione Sportiva Roma was born on June 7, 1927 from the merger of three clubs in the Capitoline: Alba-Audace, FootBall Club di Roma and Fortitudo-Pro Roma. Founded with the mission of defending the name, colors and symbol of the Eternal City, AS Roma has retained over time the identity traits present in the vision of the founding fathers, resulting from the beginning in the authentic sporting event of the city of Rome. The reverse of the coin depicts the official emblem of the AS Roma club.
