Designed by José Teixeira, a sculptor who has created several works, he is a professor at Lisbon's Faculty of Fine Arts and has extensive experience in the design of medals and coins.
May the symbolic power of this coin remind all citizens of Portugal, Europe and the world that peace must remain an ideal to be achieved every day.
