Remarks:
This official numismatic set, minted by the Monnaie de Paris for the Principality of Monaco, dates from 1982. It is a limited edition of 10,000 copies, presenting all the coins in Brilliant Uncirculated quality.
The set contains a total of eleven different coins. It includes the common divisions of Monegasque currency, namely the 1 centime, 5 centimes, 10 centimes and 20 centimes coins. These coins represent the lowest face values in circulation at that time.
Also included are the ½ franc, 1 franc, 2 francs, 5 francs and 10 francs coins. The latter bear the effigy of Prince Rainier III, an emblematic figure of the Principality of Monaco.
A 10 franc coin, commemorating Princess Grace of Monaco, is also present in this set. It is minted in common metal.
Finally, the set is distinguished by the presence of a 100 franc silver coin. This particular coin depicts the double effigy of the reigning Prince, Rainier III, and the Hereditary Prince, Albert. This silver representation is particularly prized by collectors for its numismatic value and its symbolism.
All the coins are presented in their original quality, i.e. Brilliant Uncirculated. This state of preservation implies that the coins have hardly circulated. They have shiny surfaces and show no signs of wear visible to the naked eye. All the coins are presented in their original box.
