The motif and the issuing State "50 XPONIA A?O THN A?OKATA?TA?H TH? ?HMOKPATIA? - ???????? ?ΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑ" run along the upper edge of the image. The years "1974 - 2024" are represented respectively on the left and right of the Greek flag on the building. The palmette of the Greek issuing institute is placed at the bottom of the image and the initials "?TAM" of the coin's creator are visible on the right.
