The Saar Loop, emblematic of the Saar, illustrates the first German 2 euro commemorative coin of 2025. The Saar draws a pronounced meander in German territory, a little upstream from Mettlach, which the Germans call Saarschleife. Particularly popular with tourists, this loop is fully visible from the Cloef belvedere.
