For several years now, the theme of excellence à la française has combined the expertise of excellence of one of the 70 houses of the Comité Colbert with that of La Monnaie de Paris, offering a singular collection that combines their respective talents.

Among the major houses to have collaborated with La Monnaie de Paris are Cartier in 2010, Baccarat in 2014, Sèvres-Cité de la Céramique in 2015, Van Cleef & Arpels in 2016, Guy Savoy in 2017, Boucheron in 2018, the Louvre Museum in 2019 and, more recently, Berluti in 2020.

Continuing the series, this silver medal pays tribute to the codes of the House of Dior: the houndstooth, the roses and the couture knot. The intertwined letters DIOR, taken from an antique brooch produced by the fashion house, complete the central design. The knot is highlighted by a hand-coloured deposit that recalls the colour of the Miss Dior perfume juice.

The reverse of this objet d'art is decorated in the same way as the coins in the series, with the name "Miss Dior" perfume inscribed in the centre. The knot visible on the reverse is also coloured pink, making each medal unique thanks to the hand-deposited resin.
