The face of the coloured 10? Silver BE coin depicts busts of Marten Soolmans and Oopjen Coppit. The names of the subjects, the painter and the year separate the two paintings. The outline of the coin is decorated with the original frame of the portraits and the museums in which they reside in alternating custody: the Rijksmuseum at the bottom and the Louvre at the top. The reverse, common to the entire collection, depicts the Louvre building as seen from the courtyard.
courtyard. In the foreground is the famous Pyramid of the Louvre, through which we can see an essential work: the Victory of Samothrace. The name of the museum is inscribed at the bottom of the pyramid, along with the hallmarks at the ends. The words ?RF? and the face value appear above the roofs of the Palais du Louvre.
