This set includes the six 10, 20 and 50 cent coins dated 2023 and 2024, minted in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality. Historically dedicated to the figure of the sower, the three coins dated 2024 honor three exceptional women, Marie Curie, Joséphine Baker and Simone Veil, who have strongly contributed to the elevation of France as well as to its international influence. The timeless figure of the sower imagined by the engraver Oscar Roty still appears on the three denominations, as a nod to the designs of the euros that have accompanied us for more than 20 years.
Minted in only 2024 copies, this case highlights the new designs that come into circulation from January 2024. The juxtaposition of the denominations allows us to observe the evolution of the national faces, designed more than 20 years apart by Joaquin Jiménez, Engraver General of the Monnaie de Paris.
