This coloured silver 50 coin features on its face an owl holding in its talons the letter of admission to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This letter is sent to young wizards on their 11th birthday and officially entitles them to enter the wizarding world. The letter shows the address of the Dursley family who took Harry Potter in shortly after his birth. As with the €10 silver coins, these are coloured using the pad printing technique.
