This series comprises the eight French circulation denominations in Brillant Universel quality. Only 25,000 copies of this series will be minted, and it will contain the exclusive new €1 and €2 coins designed by Joaquin Jiménez, Engraver General of the Monnaie de Paris.
The new €1 and €2 coins are produced exclusively for this series and for the BE 2022 series.

Brillant Universel stands for Brilliant Uncirculated. These coins are minted using new tooling to ensure superior quality. They are more highly polished than standard coins and have never been put into circulation.
