In order to smash the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Mascot jumps to hit the shuttlecock with power. Badminton officially entered the Olympic programme in 1992 at the Barcelona Games, with men's and women's singles and doubles events. A mixed doubles event was added to the programme at the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996.
Badminton is played indoors between two players or pairs. The players exchange shuttlecocks instead of balls in matches played in two winning sets with 21-point sets.
