On the face a drawing corresponding to each region appears on a stylised background. The name of each region appears at the bottom of the coin. A graphic reproduction of the regional flag crowns the upper part of the coin. The common reverse side features the €10 face value surrounded by 2 branches, one of oak and the other of laurel, evoking the Euro symbol. The inscription "Liberté Egalité Fraternité" is placed around the edge of the coin and the whole motif is framed by an assembly of lines representing the hexagon.
