 The face depicts a fox on a country walk. His gait is light and cheerful, as he is on his way to celebrate the arrival of a newborn baby in the forest. He is holding in his paw the gift he will give to this new baby. The golden crown of this coin further enhances the happy fox on the silver insert.
 On the reverse, the denomination is surrounded by two branches, one of oak, the other of laurel, evoking the Euro symbol. The whole design is framed by ?République Française? (French Republic) and an assembly of lines representing the Hexagon, in which are the year and the denominations.
