France will be hosting the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. To celebrate this event, the Monnaie de Paris is issuing a magnificent series of "JO Paris 2024" coins. The new 2 euro French commemorative 2023 is now available in a BE version. 

After Marianne in 2021 and the Genie in 2022, the face of this coin features the Sower practising pugilism. In the background is a view of the Pont Neuf, considered to be the oldest stone bridge in Paris. It is located a few metres from the Monnaie de Paris.

Edge: striated and inscribed with a 2 followed by two stars, all repeated six times, alternating right and wrong sides.
