Monnaie de Paris is also honouring the Louvre as a museum in 2025 to mark the 200th anniversary of the death of Dominique-Vivant Denon, who was the first director of the Louvre Museum and director of the Monnaie des Médailles, one of the historical entities of Monnaie de Paris.

Of all the masterpieces in the Louvre's collections, four are featured prominently on the packaging of these four BU coincards: Love and Psyche Reclining, the Venus de Milo, the Victory of Samothrace and the Mona Lisa. The coincard is a sealed bank card-sized slip (8.6 x 5.4 cm).

Edge: grooved and inscribed with a 2 followed by two stars, repeated six times, alternating right side up and down.
