France will be hosting the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. To celebrate this event, the Monnaie de Paris is issuing a magnificent series of "JO Paris 2024" coins. The new 2 euro commemorative French coin 2024 is now available in a BE version. 

After Marianne in 2021, the Genie in 2022 and the Sower in 2023, the face of this coin features Hercules wrestling.
In the background is a view of Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral, considered to be one of the most emblematic monuments in Paris.
It is located a few metres from the Monnaie de Paris, on the Ile de la Cité.

Edge: striated and inscribed with a 2 followed by two stars, repeated six times, alternating right side up and upside down.
