This numismatic set contains all the French circulation coins, ranging from 1 cent to 2 euros, issued in 2009. The coins are presented in their Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality, which means they were struck with special care and have a new and shiny appearance.

Each coin in the set features the standard motifs of the French euro series. The 1, 2 and 5 cent coins depict a young Marianne, symbol of the French Republic, with the Phrygian cap, turned to the right. The motif is surrounded by the twelve stars of the European Union and the mention "RF" for République Française.

The 10, 20 and 50 cent coins feature the motif of the sower, an allegorical figure representing a woman sowing seeds, a symbol of prosperity and the future. This motif is also surrounded by the twelve European stars and the inscription "RF".

The 1 and 2 euro coins depict the tree of life, stylized and inscribed in a hexagon, representing France and its vitality. This motif is surrounded by the motto "Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité", the twelve European stars and the mention "RF". The year of issue, 2009, is also visible on each coin.

The entire set of coins is contained in a case specially designed for the preservation and presentation of collectible coins. The case protects the coins from handling and external aggressions, while allowing them to be admired in their original state.
