This numismatic set, issued by France in 2008, contains all the current circulation coins, ranging from 1 cent to 2 euros. The coins are presented in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality, which means they have been struck with particular care and have a bright and immaculate appearance.

Each coin in the set features the designs specific to French euro issues. The national faces of the 1, 2 and 5 cent coins depict a young Marianne, symbol of the French Republic, with the Phrygian cap, facing right. The motif is surrounded by twelve stars, representing the European Union, and the mention "RF" for République Française. The engraver is Fabienne Courtiade.

On the 10, 20 and 50 cent coins, the design represents a sower, an allegorical figure inspired by an older French coin. The motif is also surrounded by the twelve European stars and the mention "RF". The sower is a work by Oscar Roty.

The 1 and 2 euro coins feature a stylized tree, symbolizing life and growth, inscribed in a hexagon. The motif is surrounded by the twelve European stars. The 2 euro coin includes the mintmarks and the year. This design is the work of Joaquin Jimenez.

The entire set is kept in a case specially designed to protect and showcase them. This case preserves the original condition of the coins and provides a neat presentation for collectors.
