Coin Andorra 2 EUROS COMMEMORATIVE Andorra 2021 - Let's take care of our elderly (COVID)

This 2 euro commemorative coin was issued by Andorra in 2021. It pays tribute to the support of the elderly and frail during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The coin is bimetallic, with a nickel brass center and a cupronickel ring. It weighs 8.5 grams and measures 25.75 millimeters in diameter with a thickness of 2.20 millimeters.

The central theme of this issue is expressed by the inscription "Cuidem la Nostra gent gran" in Catalan, meaning "Let's take care of our elders". This dedication highlights the importance of solidarity and attention to vulnerable people in the face of health challenges.

The mintage of this coin is limited to 70,000 pieces in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality. Each coin comes in an official blister pack.

The edge of the coin is reeded and bears the inscription repeated six times of a "2" followed by two stars, alternating upright and inverted.
