The 2 euro commemorative coin issued by Andorra in 2018 celebrates the 25th anniversary of the country's Constitution. This commemorative coin features a bimetallic composition, with a weight of 8.5 grams and a diameter of 25.75 millimeters.
The obverse of the coin depicts a monument dedicated to the men and women of Andorra who worked for the establishment of the Constitution. This monument is located on the square of the General Council, the Andorran parliament. To the right of this monument is a map of Andorra including its motto. The outer part of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
The inscriptions on the obverse include the name of the country, "ANDORRA", as well as the mention "25è ANIVERSARI DE LA CONSTITUCIÓ 1993-2018", highlighting the anniversary commemorated. The country's motto, "VIRTVS VNITA FORTIOR", which means "United virtue is stronger", is also present.
The reverse of the coin features a map of the European continent, superimposed on a dynamic background composed of the twelve stars of the European Union. The face value, "2 EURO", is also indicated, as well as the initials "LL" of the engraver, Luc Luycx.
The edge of the coin is finely milled and bears the inscription "2 **", repeated six times, with an alternating orientation from bottom to top and top to bottom.
