In 2017 San Marino changed all its national visuals on the euro coins it issues.  The €2 now depicts a detail from Urbinelli's painting of San Marino bearing the three Towers" of the small republic. 

Edge: striated and inscribed with a 2 followed by a star, all repeated six times, alternating obverse and reverse.
