This complete set brings together seven Turkish circulation coins issued over the period 2022 to 2026, covering all denominations in use within the monetary system of the Republic of Turkey. It includes the face values of 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 kuru?, as well as the 1 and 5 türk liras? coins, thus bringing together all the metallic denominations of contemporary Turkish currency.

The kuru? is the subdivision of the Turkish lira, with one hundred kuru? to one lira. The lower denomination coins, from 1 to 50 kuru?, make up the fractional part of the monetary unit, while the 1 and 5 türk liras? coins represent the highest unit values in circulation in metallic form.

These coins are minted by the Turkish State Mint, known as the Darphane ve Damga Matbaas?, the official institution responsible for the production of coins and banknotes in Turkey. The designs of current Turkish coins follow in the tradition of the country's modern series, generally featuring the crescent and star, iconic symbols of the Turkish Republic, as well as the face value and year of minting.

The total weight of the complete series is 36 grams, distributed among the seven coins with varying dimensions and compositions depending on their denomination. The alloys used differ from one coin to another, with higher denominations generally using bimetallic materials or specific alloys to facilitate their visual and tactile identification.
