Coin Monaco

The 2-cent euro coin from Monaco, minted in 2001, is a divisional coin of the European monetary system. It was issued by the Monetary Institute of Monaco.

This coin is made of copper-plated steel, giving it a characteristic reddish color. It weighs 3.06 grams and has a diameter of 18.75 millimeters.

Part of the first series of Monaco euro coins (issued between 2001 and 2005), it bears the coat of arms of the principality on its national side. The reverse of the coin features the common design for all 2-cent euro coins, with the face value and a representation of Europe.
