Description
This silver 5 Francs coin was minted in Monaco in 1966. It is dedicated to Prince Rainier III.
The obverse of the coin features a bust of Prince Rainier III, facing left. The circular legend reads "RAINIER III PRINCE DE MONACO". The engraver's signature, P. TURIN, is visible below the bust. The year of issue, 1966, is also present on this side.
The reverse of the coin features the crowned coat of arms of the Principality of Monaco. This coat of arms is supported by two monks armed with swords. The motto "DEO JUVANTE" is inscribed below the coat of arms. The face value, 5 F, is positioned at the top of the reverse.
