Obverse: A static view of La Semeuse as a close-up shot framed at bust height with her hair blowing in the wind escaping from her Phrygian cap the bag slung over her right shoulder behind her at bottom left the sun with its rays the 2008 vintage inserted in "RF" below; the legs are not visible. On the right are the "différents" and the logo of the author: Joaquim Jimenez.  

Reverse: In the centre, the denomination: euro 5, surrounded by two branches, one of oak and the other of laurel, evoking the euro symbol; the inscription "liberté égalité fraternité" (liberty, equality, fraternity) all around, framed by a series of lines representing the Hexagon
