The front of the banknote features a portrait of Henri IV in the center, with the Pont-Neuf visible in the background. The coat of arms of Paris is positioned on the left, while that of Béarn is on the right. The inscriptions "BANQUE DE FRANCE" and "Cinq Mille Francs" are also present.
The engravers responsible for the creation of this banknote are André Marliat, Jules Piel and Georges Léon Égalité Beltrand. The design is the work of Jean Lefeuvre.
