This French banknote with a face value of 10,000 francs, dated October 2, 1958, belongs to the R.132 series. It was issued by the Banque de France.

On the front of the banknote, there is a bust of Napoleon Bonaparte facing right. On the left, the Arc de Triomphe is depicted. The background is adorned with floral, plant, and fruit motifs. Lyres, horns, and trumpets are also integrated into the design, as well as a palette and a parchment. The inscriptions "DIX MILLE" and "FRANCS" are clearly visible, along with the mention "BANQUE DE FRANCE." André Marliat is identified as the engraver, while Clément Serveau is credited as the designer.

The back of the banknote features another bust of Napoleon Bonaparte, this time facing left, with numerous flags in the background. On the right, the Invalides church is depicted. The inscriptions "DIX MILLE" and "FRANCS" are repeated, as well as the mention "BANQUE DE FRANCE." A law text, Article 129 of the Penal Code, is included, recalling the penalties for counterfeiting banknotes. Robert Armanelli is the engraver of this side, and Clément Serveau is also the designer.

The banknote's watermark depicts Bonaparte's head in profile. The banknote measures 172 mm in length and 92 mm in width.
