The 100 Algerian Francs banknote, dated June 20, 1945, is a specimen from the Y.2223 series. This banknote is issued by the Bank of Algeria.
On the obverse, there is a representation of a man positioned on the left. The inscriptions are written in Arabic and Latin, mentioning in particular "Bank of Algeria" and the face value "Cent Francs". There are also the signatures of Jacques Simon (FEC.) and C. Beltrand (SC.). Camille Beltrand is identified as the engraver, while Jacques Simon is credited as the designer.
The reverse of the banknote depicts a farmer plowing the land with oxen.
