Description
This coin is an American quarter dollar, issued in 2025 and minted at the San Francisco mint, identifiable by the mint mark "S". It is part of the "American Women Quarters" series, which honors American women who have made significant contributions in various fields.

The reverse of the coin depicts Althea Gibson, a pioneering athlete in tennis and golf. She is shown holding a racket in one hand and a ball in the other, standing near a net on a tennis court.
