The 100 Tugrik banknote from Mongolia, issued in 2000, has a rectangular format with dimensions of 140 mm in length and 68 mm in width.
On the obverse, the banknote features a portrait of Damdiny Sükhbaatar, an emblematic figure of the Mongolian revolution of 1921. There is also a representation of a Paiza (Gerege), a historical symbol of Mongolian authority, as well as the national coat of arms. The inscriptions are written in traditional Mongolian (folded) script and in Manchu. The face value of 100 is indicated in numbers, accompanied by the terms "Mongol Bank" and "One Hundred Tögrög" in Mongolian script.
The reverse of the banknote offers a panoramic view of a mountainous landscape typical of Mongolia, where horses graze peacefully in a valley. In the watermark, one can distinguish the portrait of Chinggis Khan, an emblematic historical figure of Mongolia, as well as the logo of the issuing bank in electrotype.
This banknote belongs to a specific series designated by the designation "AD". It testifies to the history and culture of Mongolia through its symbols and emblematic figures.
