Banknote Fiji 100 Cents - Hibiscus Flower - Chinese Dragon - Polymer - 2023 - BC Series

This commemorative 10 Shillings banknote, issued by Fiji in 2023, is part of the BC series and celebrates the Chinese Lunar Year of the Dragon. It measures 145 mm in length and 70 mm in width.

The obverse of the banknote features inscriptions in English and a representation of a hibiscus flower, printed in gold-green OVI (Optical Variable Ink). It also features the Fijian coat of arms and the personality associated with this banknote is Elisabeth II, Queen of England and the Commonwealth.

The reverse of the banknote features a stylized Chinese dragon, accompanied by clouds and a red lantern, as well as the logo of the issuing banking institution. A complex holographic stripe also adorns the reverse. This stripe presents a variety of graphic elements, including waves, the face value "100", leaves, a banded iguana, a red-throated lorikeet, fish, corals, starfish, the Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF) logo, shells and pearls.
