The 10 Convertible Marka banknote from Bosnia and Herzegovina, issued in 2017, has a rectangular format with dimensions of 130 mm in length and 65 mm in width. This banknote belongs to the G series and is issued by the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The obverse of the banknote highlights the portrait of Aleksa ?anti? (1868-1924), a cultural figure whose dates of birth and death are mentioned under his effigy. The inscriptions include the name of the issuing bank in several languages: "CENTRAL BANK OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA". The face value, "10", is repeated in several places, accompanied by the currency "CONVERTIBLE MARKS". There is also the designation of the value in words: "TEN CONVERTIBLE MARKS". A decorative motif representing bread complements the composition of the obverse.
The reverse of the banknote features the face value "10" and the name of the issuing bank, "CENTRAL BANK OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA". The designation of the value in words, "TEN CONVERTIBLE MARKS", is also repeated. The reverse design incorporates a specific ornamental motif, distinct from that of the obverse. The dominant color of the banknote is a mixture of shades that contribute to the visual identification of the denomination.
