Description

This 2 euro commemorative coin was issued by Andorra in 2014. It celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Principality of Andorra's accession to the Council of Europe.

The coin is bimetallic, with a cupro-nickel center and a copper-nickel ring. It weighs 8.5 grams and has a diameter of 25.75 millimeters and a thickness of 2.20 millimeters.

The edge of the coin is reeded and bears the inscription "2" followed by two stars, repeated six times, alternating upright and inverted.

This edition is struck in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality. The mintage for the BU quality is 100,000 copies, while 5,000 copies were struck in Proof (BE) quality.
