This banknote, with a face value of 1 Dong, was issued in 1956 by South Vietnam. It belongs to Series A.3.
The front of the banknote is printed in shades of emerald green and dark pink. The serial number, in black, is positioned at the bottom and divided into two parts. The Temple of King Hùng is depicted on the right, while a watermark is located on the left. A signature is affixed in the center. Ornamental guilloche patterns and rosettes indicating the denomination complete the visual.
The back of the banknote uses the same printing colors, emerald green and dark pink. The entrance to the Vietnam History Museum is illustrated on the left, with a watermark positioned on the right. Ornamental guilloche patterns and denomination rosettes are also present.
The dimensions of this banknote are 123 mm in length and 78 mm in width.
