The 100 Bolivares banknote, issued by the Banco Central de Venezuela in 1992, features a dominant brown color scheme on a yellow background.
The obverse of the banknote highlights, on the right side, a portrait of Simón Bolívar inspired by the equestrian painting by Tito Salas. The watermark area is located in the center. The face value of "100" is printed on the left. The name of the issuing institution, "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA", is divided into two parts, appearing at the top and bottom of the banknote. The nominal value "100" is also present in the right corner.
The reverse of the banknote repeats the brown motif on a yellow background. The National Capitol is depicted on the left, while the coat of arms of Venezuela appears on the right. The watermark area is located in the center. The denomination in words, "CIEN BOLÍVARES", is written at the top, and the name of the issuer, "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA", is repeated at the bottom. The nominal value "100" is present in each corner.
The watermark reveals a portrait of Simón Bolívar, framed by two large letters "B" and "C".
The dimensions of this banknote are 156 mm in length and 69 mm in width. The banknote belongs to Series B.
