Coin USA 10 Cents - Liberty - Soaring Eagle - 2026 - D Denver

Issued in 2026 to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States, this 10-cent coin, also known as a dime, is part of the special issues created for the American Semiquincentennial 1776-2026. This example was struck at the Denver Mint and bears the D mint mark.

The obverse features a new representation of Liberty, an allegorical figure deeply connected to the history of American coinage. She wears a star-adorned cap. The inscriptions "LIBERTY", "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the dates "1776-2026" accompany the portrait.

The reverse depicts an American eagle with outstretched wings, holding a branch in its talons. It is accompanied by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "E PLURIBUS UNUM", "ONE DIME" and "LIBERTY OVER TYRANNY".

This exceptional design replaces in 2026 the Roosevelt type normally used on the American dime and commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence.
