The back of the banknote features a portrait of Ord. Ayd?n Say?l? (1913-1993), as well as diagrams illustrating the solar system, the atom, an ancient cave, and a left-handed Z-DNA helix.
The watermark of this banknote depicts Atatürk in profile, accompanied by an electrotype of the number '5'.
