This Spanish banknote has a face value of 50 pesetas and was issued on September 24, 1906. Its dimensions are 130 millimeters in length and 91 millimeters in width.
The front of the banknote is printed in black and green, with a multicolored underprint serving as the background. The serial number is printed in red. The central element of the design is an allegorical female figure. This figure is depicted standing, next to a globe. She holds a caduceus in her hand. The perimeter and background of the banknote are adorned with geometric patterns.
The back of the banknote is printed in green, with a yellow underprint. The serial number is also printed in red on this side. In the center of the back, we find the crowned coat of arms of Spain. Geometric and floral patterns complete the decoration of this side.
This 50 pesetas banknote features a combination of allegorical figures and heraldic elements, reflecting the national symbols of Spain at the beginning of the 20th century. The geometric and floral motifs used in the design bear witness to the artistic aesthetics of the time.
