Coin Slovakia Proof Set of 9 coins - 2021

The 2021 Brilliant Uncirculated set from Slovakia represents a complete collection of the Slovak euro coin series issued for the year 2021. This set brings together nine coins struck to Brilliant Uncirculated quality, guaranteeing carefully finished surfaces and high-precision minting.

The first eight coins cover all denominations of the Slovak euro range, namely the 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cent subdivisions, as well as the 1 and 2 euro face values. These coins feature on their reverse the common European designs defined by the European Union, while their national sides display the distinctive emblems chosen by Slovakia to represent its cultural and historical identity within the eurozone.

The ninth coin is the distinguishing element of this set. It is a colourised 20 token, a special coin whose colouring adds an additional artistic and decorative dimension to the set. This type of colourised coin, produced by applying a colourisation process to the metal, is a testament to the technical expertise of contemporary minting workshops and offers a particularly refined visual result.

The set is presented in an official case, the traditional presentation format for Brilliant Uncirculated series, designed to ensure the optimal preservation of the coins and their display in a setting suited to collectors. This set was issued by Slovakia, a eurozone member state since 1 January 2009, whose monetary issues are supervised by the Národná banka Slovenska in coordination with the guidelines of the European Central Bank. The issue year 2021 appears on each of the coins, making it a precisely dated numismatic document for annual collections.
