The 1968 Seychelles 10 Rupee banknote is a specimen from the A/I series. It measures 147 mm in length and 83 mm in width.
The front of the banknote features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the right. In the center left, a representation of a sea turtle is visible. In the upper left, a maritime scene illustrates men sailing in a boat. The denomination, "TEN RUPEES", is printed, accompanied by the mention "GOVERNMENT OF SEYCHELLES".
The back of the banknote, written in Latin script, again displays the designation "GOVERNMENT OF SEYCHELLES" as well as the denomination "TEN RUPEES".
The watermark integrated into the banknote depicts a parrot's head.
